History

The first hanggliding pilots have appeared in Sopot (Bulgaria) more than 20 years ago. Later - about 10 years ago for the first time in the sky of Sopot appeared the paragliding pilots. Then they'd not thought, that this place became one of the most popular and fine in all over the world for employment of paragliding.

In 2003 the Russian company "The Center-Region Group" has got the double-level cable-armchair road and necessary objects of infrastructure for development in Bulgaria in Sopot the European center of extreme sports "SHAMBHALA'. And from this moment the modern history of development of paragliding sports in Bulgaria has begun...
